It probably wasn't intentional, but this reminds me a lot of Tibetan Buddhist sand mandalas, where the ever-present impermanence of all things is represented by creating a great and detailed artwork and then almost immediately destroying it. In a way, this shows the concept even more lucidly, because how many freaking times did these guys have to destroy immediately what they just drew? Not just once, that's for sure (particularly with things like the crawling hand or the spider). And it's not like traditional animation, either, where you have a copy of every cell. This great work was born to be destroyed forever.I agree with dchurchill, this makes me feel so lazy. Hard to believe it took them just ten days.
