Depends on where you want the competition, and where the competition currently exists. Right now, customers can really only go with one option, unless they're lucky to have multiple providers in their area. The picture you painted doesn't exist. However, even under what we have now, enforcing Net Neutrality will allow for continued competition on the Internet. Bing and Google have equal footing, as in, one company isn't paying ISPs to prioritize their traffic over their competitors. VoIP would be the same; an ISP could offer its own VoIP service, competing with Skype and Vonage, but they couldn't prioritize any of the VoIP packets over the others; all must be given equal treatment.
Windows 9? Hah, get with the times. It's all about the next Windows Door!

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check them out next spring when I'm there visiting the in-laws. Any place that the locals will tolerate a 20 minute wait sounds promising..
Further news would be titillating.!

metastasis is the deadliest part of malignant melanoma but like they say, it's a step in the right direction...?
USB 2.0 is limited to about 30 MB/s due to overheads. For such transfers, you might be better off ripping out the hard disk from the external enclosure, stuffing it in your desktop, copy the file at 70 to 100 MB/s, and put back the hard disk into its external enclosure. That or get an external with e-SATA support. |

The $1,000 goes directly to protecting animals. It will protect them from this sick ***** by giving him a criminal record, letting his neighbors know who he is so they can keep their animals away from him, and encouraging other people to donate to shelters.

The owner doesn't even say it's feasible. He has been quoted as saying "I've done the best I can but I don't think it's going to work here". He would LOVE to sell to Basielle but the NHL just cannot let the idea of hockey in the desert go. The current coyotes owner stands to make 50-100 million in the Canadian deal but 0 in the NHL deal. It's freaking whack NHL bullcrap. Keeping hockey in a place where it really has no fans and has no place at all.

Life as it is right now in North America where nearly everyone drives alone in their cars to work will have to change eventually. It is the most inefficient waste of resources ever invented. And yes public transportation all across this continent is horrendously awful and would need major upgrades before we can expect people to start to seriously consider it.I have always chosen to live reasonably close to work so that I've never had to rely on a car for long commutes. I can find better things to do than to waste time stuck in traffic for 2 hours a day. |
