Yeah, great, let's continue to reinforce the adolescent mindset of American brides. They are gleefully educated by the media that their wedding is "THEIR DAY", with the word "their" meaning entirely singular. "It's all about you, honey!", they hear from innumerable sources. Witness the abomination TV show "Bridezillas".Now the "Trash Your Dress" photo takes this insufferable sense of entitlement to its conclusion. "Trash Your Dress" is the ultimate way of saying, "***** you; this is my dress and nobody else can have it!"Thankfully I married a wonderful woman 14 years ago that sees this ***** for what it is. Pity the poor slobs that live with tyrants for wives.
Yeah, it's not like you would ever wear the dress again... At least this way you're getting another use out of it...To me, it doesn't make sense to spend an exorbitant amount of money on something you only wear once in the first place.

Like I said, a road is far more complicated. But good AI doesn't make mistakes. Humans do. With the SkyTrain running every day for about 23 years now, I guarantee someone would've screwed up in some way by now. Maybe not too badly, but there would've been some kind of accident or collision at some point. An AI on the other hand is potentially perfect. It doesn't get tired or lazy or impatient. It doesn't fail to see things coming. We don't have one that can drive yet, but that doesn't mean that the statement "AI is worse at driving than humans" is true. It's not.AI can be better than us at anything..
you are completely missing the point. no one is against him being allowed to desecrate the flag. people are against conservatives being hypocrites!

Oh no, not this discussion again. They're both great and let's just leave it at that.?
I agree, what a horrible example. I work in the same area and it takes me a whopping 8 minutes to get there. Why? Because I live in the area as well. It is people like her that are causing the extra congestion in the first place. I wouldn't live 70 miles away from where I work if I could drive traffic free at 80mph. If I get a job elsewhere, I'll move there too, or make sure I only search for jobs in my area. |

Actually I think the Coyotes will be moved irregardless of whether or not Basillie ends up the new owner or not. There's been rumours for some time now about how the league wants to move the Coyotes club out of the desert and to another market. The problem is that they'll likely move it to another "gee whiz" market that'll flop just like the Atlantas, Tampa Bays, and Nashvilles. At least Basillie's smart enough to want to move the team to a hockey-hungry market in Hamilton.

I'm an elderly, biracial hermaphrodite, so this party idea really resonates with me!

I thought the saying was, "One picture is worth ten thousand words."[1927 Ibid. 10 Mar. 114 Chinese proverb,] well, either way, the article is scary.

You have to know that imperialism exists. You have read a bit of history haven't you? Sometimes it used to take years to make a full round-trip voyage to some new place, yet people still did it. You're mistaken if you don't think we're capable of doing that on a galactic scale, likewise that another intelligent life form wouldn't be capable of the same. |
