Here's a little protip for everyone. No president, Democrat or Republican will EVER relinquish any power, executive or otherwise, established by a previous administration.
I digg ya man. Das Boot was sehr klaustrophobisch.

“well you seem to not know what you're talking about since you lump bread into two categories: sourdough and "crappy bread packed with preservatives." the reality of modern day bread baking is an array of different formulas and pre-ferments using natural or cultivated yeasts, dough enrichment (eg sugar oil milk) preservatives or none. croissants, baguettes, cibatta, sandwich loaves, dinner rolls, batards, and sourdough loaves... just to name a few.

It's an experience I've never had - England doesn't get dust storms. And after seeing the video, I'm quite happy not to have done..

Most of the foods I eat are meals (homemade or ordered out) that are made from multiple ingredients which need to be individually measured for accurate reporting. This app really doesn't help with that since most simple meal ingredients (bread, flour, eggs, pasta, etc.) are just as easily (if not more easily) searched for.Where I can see this helping a lot is when your meal consists of one or two complicated packaged food items and you can avoid typing in the nutritional values. That's really cool, but it's just a single feature that saves you time in some cases. It by no means comes close to ending food journals or even making them significantly easier.Don't get me wrong, the app may be killer and well worth it, but the photo-UPC scanning thing is just a feature. Hopefully, every food journal will implement this soon.... I'm looking at you Weight Watchers.?

It doesn't but they keep the general public scared and uninformed and so they don't fight back against marijuana prohibition because they are convinced it is a health hazard.

It's weird how completely misunderstood it is. When I was growing up 20 year ago, schizophrenia was synonymous with multiple personality disorder. It wasn't linked to violent behaviour at all. Now, after many many news reports of horrific violence committed against family by people with schizophrenia, the public in general has this idea that they are mostly ok on medication, but if they stop taking meds they will turn into bloodthirsty lunatics overnight. And there's the added perception that most sufferes don't want to take their meds.I've had some trouble with mental health in the last decade, both my father and myself were diagnosed as biploar, or manic depressive, or suffering from social anxiety and depression. I don't know what the real story is but fortunately it's pretty benign and there's just no likelihood of us ever being violent as a result, medication or not. Yet I've watched people shrink away over time, they start by being supportive but when it doesn't get fixed in a few weeks they rapidly lose patience and just drift away. I can't blame them, but it must be a lot worse for schizophrenics, with the current reputation. So, after all that, I like to think I have a fairly enlightened, sympathetic view of the disorder. And yet, just because of the sheer horror of the stories I have read and heard of, I know I'm suspicious of them. I have been held in mental health wards overnight with schizophrenics and I was ***** terrified. I don't really know what to think, I guess we just need to thank ***** every day that we are lucky enough not to have such a problem.

And the Fed created the bubble that burst...so going with what seems to be the theme of your arguments (that is that facts don't matter, only your perspective of them), then I can clearly see that WE ALL OWE THE FED FOR SAVING US. I mean, we've had 13 recessions since the FedReserve was created, but THAT'S NORMAL! It's completely normal to have cycles of boom and bust...and when they go bust...of course, the tax payer just foots the bill to keep the machine rolling@We didn't have a federal reserve system even 100 years ago...HOW DID WE EVERRRRR SURVIVE?! |
