FTA > the design is aimed for short-term flights where passengers are not as concerned about comfort. The "10 hours" comment does not account for "aimed for short-term flights". That aside, problems not already noted above:- No room for stewards/stewardesses to go down the aisles. The aisles are full of feet and knees. At min (with no meals on short-flights) for medical emergencies.- Perimeter passengers resting their backs against the sides: cold & hard. They need to include padded & (somewhat) insulated back rests built into the wall.- Also, it appears that the windows consume half of the space where perimeter passengers would lean back.- No arm rests for anyone (except for the tray on one side for perimeter passengers)? A turn-off after 2-3 hours.- No tray apparent for middle passengers? Only lap or hands for drink, laptop, misc? Not end of the world, but another turn-off unless big $savings.- Diminished ability to comfortably stretch out into a neighboring empty seat.Fat passengers were mentioned above, but this is a different wrinkle affecting many more people.- (Was this commented on?) being stared at straight-on for 2 hrs by the occasional dodgy character? Yuck.These + the other other objections above ... how can this possibly make enuf of a cost diff to find a niche?
