Irrational people should not have access to nuclear arms.
For two minutes, I felt ... retarded. I saw the title, clicked on the link excitedly, then skipped straight to the code hoping to see a marvel of programming eloquence. "Yes, yes" I nodded to myself when I saw the first line. "That's a bit unclear, but probably apparent when you know the process." On the second line, my concentration fogged. "What is this?! I just don't get it!" I skimmed the rest of the snippet, desperate for a hook on which to hang understanding, but only familiar statements offered relief ... comprehension eluded me.This was when desperation forced me to the article. Surrendering, I hoped the text there would hold my hand and show me brilliance so bright my eyes couldn't see it.Oh, this is a *bad* example? What a relief! But I still feel kind of stupid.

“The decision to have no matchmaking with Firefight was totally retarded. I only bought my 360 a couple months ago. I don't have a gargantuan friends list to pick and choose from. Really really dumb move.

Summary: Lots of groups have tried to realistically model supernovae, but have failed because the computing power necessary to do so is prohibitive. This group succeeded in making a model by cutting corners (for example by totally ignoring any energy in the form of sound) and now they're trying to pass their model off as being accurate..

There's "Feds" in the title and it has nothing to do with the Federal Reserve, so there's room for ambiguity. I have some recollection that people were discussing the broadening of this slogan, but I don't keep up with this issue. Then again, he could be a stupid troll. |

I think it's time to face it. Smoking will be made illegal before it's said and done. Might not be in my lifetime, but it is coming.I do also wonder if we're (the taxpayers) are going to have to buy big tobacco out in the states, however.

Diggpiglet,"All those scientist agree that the earth has been cooling for about 8 - 10 years now. If the earth is not warming then something else is going on with the few melting glaciers. Most of the other glaciers are growing."Do "all those scientists" include the ones at NASA?http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/Your supporting links support global warming, dont show the earth cooling for 8 years, say nothing about glacier growth, and 2 of them refute the idea that changes in the sun are responsible for global temps; the remaining supporter says nothing of the void in correlation over the last 30 years as shown in your other two links.Im unclear as to what you are trying to prove? From:Your first link:'It's pretty clear that the underlying level of the Sun peaked at about 1985 and what we are seeing is a continuation of a downward trend that's been going on for a couple of decades. If the Sun's dimming were to have a cooling effect, we'd have seen it by now.'Your third link:"Ironically, the evidence that establishes the sun's close correlation with the Earth's temperature in the past also establishes it's blamelessness for global warming today."http://www.skepticalscience.com/images/tsi_vs_temp ...
