Didn't something like this happen in a movie...except with a helicopter? I think it's one of the movies they play on comedy central alot...i can't remember the name...oh well....
I think what you meant to say is - "So burning a flag is an unAmerican desecration that warrants the pushing of a new Constitutional Amendment to bypass the 'activist' SCOTUS ruling, but tea staining one is not? Sorry, you can't have it both ways . . . ."

What an amazing medium for a much needed message. Society as a whole needs to better understand mental disorders; I would love to see a series of these.!

You miss the point. 10 years ago WE HAD a working usable electric car that today the average person COULD USE AND COULD AFFORD.GM worked in concert with the US Government and Texaco/Chevron to KILL the project and make it as difficult as possible for anyone else to pick up the ball and run with it.They could build an under $15,000 100+ mile range mid size sedan with a single centrally mounted direct drive electric motor with aluminum frame plastic body with a life span on the battery in excess of 20 years. They could have had these things flowing off the lines right now. Instead GM lobbied CARB to "gut" the ZEV requirements. They they worked with the government to get the "hummer" tax credit through ($100,000 tax credit for 6,000lb vehicles $2500 credit for an electric car) They took back the leased EV1's and CRUSHED them (literally) and then sold the ovonics NIMH patent to texaco/chevronThis is real. this is reality. NOT fiction. A pony is a fairy tale an electric car is a reality TAKEN FROM US.so now other companies have to use OTHER battery chemistries since NIMH is "off the table" until that patent expires (its a controlling patent it controls enough critical points that you can't make a similar battery without violating the patent)This is not ponies this is just hard greed.Toyota converted a RAV4 to electric using the same E95 battery. THEY DID sell some of them so some consumers to this day are still driving them. They are getting 80-110 miles on a charge! Some of these consumer owned RAV4EV's have over 150,000 miles on them with ZERO degradation in the battery back so far after 10 years ! (they are rated to 250,000 miles to 80% depth of charge)DO YOU KNOW WHY the tesla roadster costs $100,000 ? its easy. they are legally not allowed to use the NIMH pack ovonics made so they had to use Lithium cells. not only that they had to use consumer off the shelf lithium cells nearly 7,000 of the freaking things.and you wonder why it costs $100,000 grand for the damned car.Our country needs them NOW not 30 or 40 years from now. WE HAD THEM 10 years ago and they intentionally killed them with prejudice. Then we get the scam that is the volt? 40mile range? do you know what the average range is for a home made lead acid battery electric car conversion? 40 miles.DO YOU REALLY think this is a coincidence? these cars are scams designed to say SEE we are trying until they can get Hydrogen working.Hydrogen is the ultimate end result of this scam. 35mpg equivalent $7 to $8 a gallon equivalent and guess what the easiest source of HYDROGEN is ?Peutroleum. Cute ehh ? OH and you still stuck with a maintenance prone vehicle and still slaved to a "pump" to buy your fuelKnow what "fuel" would cost the average american with an electric car? $110 to $150.PER YEAR on their electric bill.Virtually maintenance free. Virtually ever lasting (at least compared to today's cars) with pretty much nothing to break and CHEAPER to build.Seeing as how 54% of GM's profit 10 years ago came AFTER they sold you the car (finances charges warranties parts labor) and seeing as how electric cars would virtually WIPE OUT those sources of profit.Yeah thats why GM killed themSeeing as how our MONEY and economy centers around OIL yeah thats why the Government helped them kill themDo I even need to tell you why Texaco/Chevron will roll over dead before letting anyone license that battery patent? This is not ponies. This is just pure sick greed.?
wow! thank you! you saved me time because my taste and preferences are identical to yours!/snot everyone is like you jerkface. different strokes for different folks. |

No they don't. DDoS attacks do, though. Most classic DoS attacks only took one computer, and today you can still DoS with only one (see http://ha.ckers.org/blog/20090617/slowloris-http-d ... depending on the circumstances of the attack. DDoS isn't DoS.

I think of Hendrix as an artist. Having an opportunity to hear more of his ideas is very exciting. It'd be like if they found some old Da Vinci sketch book. Would it all be fine art? No, but it would still be extremely interesting. I love b-sides, alternate takes, demos etcAs long as it's done for the right reasons and they're not goldmining on his death, I'm for 'em. |
