He doesn't have one. He just likes to bitch, and his bitching rings true with people of political ignorance. Those with any sort of political scruples quickly understand his stances are both vapid and baseless.
hmm I might actually do this now. We shall see :P

It was a category 5 before it was a category 3, and it was one of the largest (maybe the largest?) hurricanes ever recorded. I suppose it was no Hurricane Wilma, but it certainly brought Rapid Intensification into mainstream scientific study, which is certainly a plus. Consequently, we know a whole lot more about rapid intensification than we used to.?
Wow. I WISH this is how I spent my work day. Unfortunately it is 95% time actually working and trying to fit in breaks inbetween meetings and more work. :( |

How trippy would it be to capture scenes from an extremely vivid or lucid dream and watch them again later? I hope they get this technology working during my lifetime.

Maximum decent rate was ~7000-8000fpm, or 90mph, so no breaking the sound barrier, it was a rather light package.

Big corporations will always collude with government. It's a fundamental problem of capitalism. The people in government naturally (as anyone would in such positions) want to hang around the rich elite. The rich elite, in turn, buy their position in the government. The history of America is a history of wealthy ***** using the government to shut down competition, or in worse cases, overthrowing entire governments (United Fruit vs. Guatemala).Government cannot keep capitalism fair--unless an aware population puts constant pressure on Congress. But we don't have such a thing. We have television, the internet, cell phones, movies, constant distractions. We can't get a proper and full picture to make sense of it all.So now, instead of fixing what is broke and regaining a sense of self-reliance (in that Ralph Waldo Emerson sense), we are choosing to allow government to control the ENTIRE thing. All of it. The banks, the auto manufacturers, health care.Faith in capitalism and in the self-reliance of people has eroded, completely. |
