I think this has something to do with the iPod app on the iPhone. I think every once in a while it gets stuck on something, and keeps chugging away in the background, draining battery like it shouldn't and causing the rest of the phone to start to lag out. I think they introduced some kind of memory issue with 3.1 and the iPod app, and hopefully they will track it down and kill it soon.

yo ro-bro. I deduced through interpreted signals gathered from many various sensors that you are more apt to monitor with pleasure a robot on top of another robot, so computing this we have put ASIMO in front of a unicycle robot so that you might get your fluid pressures up in calculating the odds of the two working together as a karate street ready fighting force.

I took a course for a pistol permit a couple of weeks ago. One of the instructors was a former police officer who explained that the worst examples of unsafe gun handling are routinely committed by policemen. He said he witnessed several ADs while policemen were cleaning the gun, and another when an officer tried to holster his weapon (shooting himself in the leg). A Major on the force was then called down to show them the mistake the officer made, and promptly shot himself in the leg while demonstrating what the other officer did wrong.
In L.A.'s highways' defense, the woman in the article has a 71 mile commute each way. Exactly what was she expecting when she took a job in Santa Monica and/or found a place to live in Rialto?
