Sure, many tech-savvy people know how to truly power their devices completely down, but lots of people just assume that if the screen is off, the device is off. I think the argument here is not that the airlines should necessarily allow people to continue using their iPhone in airplane mode, but rather that some clarification needs to be made. At the moment, no one seems to know whether airplane mode is sufficiently "off" or not.

So, you think the people shouting "OBAMAS A SOCIALIST NAZI" have read and understand the bill? I agree that there are problems in the bill, just like any proposed legislation, but the arguments that are going on aren't about those legitimate problems, they're about sensationalized bs that either isnt true or doesnt matter.I'm sure there are /some/ people complaining about this reform who have read and understand the bill, but it is a huge stretch to say /many/, and definitely not /most/.

Well, it seems like people would misuse it for superficial reasons, but in reality, people need eyelashes. We need them to protect our eyes from dust particles as well as act like a sensor when something is near our eye.So while something like this seems "weird" to some, it might not be to the person who has thinning hair and eyelashes.
