| Or...just go to a credit union. That Wal-Mart ***** has lots of fees, too. Just getting the card costs $3.00. Open a checking account at a credit union, and the debit card will be free.My credit union has full financial services (including car loans, mortgages, CDs, credit/debit cards, financial advice, free ATMs nationwide, good rates), but none of the ***** fees of banks.I have overdraft protection on my checking account. It's free, assuming my savings can cover it (which it can). |

Believe me, there's probably more than 7, for sure
For those who think capitalism is evil have nothing to worry about since we are not on a capitalist system, we are on a system of planned economy. That's where the government sets interest rates, gives money for car purchases, house purchases, manages home loans, bails out corporations, and so on.....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_economy

“Don't see what's so sigh-inducing about this. companies like Microsoft can have timetables for projects planned out maybe even a decade in advance. Nothing concrete naturally, but I'm sure they've got an idea of when they want to start thinking about the next steps the company will take.Windows 7 is all but released - why wouldnt it be time to start thinking about 8?

yea, especially since he misspelled "bawls".
If I were the individual, I would just submit the bill to his insurer. I think that's what the council was implying he should do with it anyway. They suggested smaller fees could be paid by the person directly, and larger ones could be submitted to insurance carriers and dealt with on that level. (The insurer can determine who was at fault for the accident, and route the bill for payment accordingly.)IMHO, the council may want to reconsider the criteria for when the road damage bills go directly to the person as opposed to the insurance carrier. They may want to send it directly to the insurer in situations where the bill is above a certain amount. Also, if the person in question is still alive, but seriously injured and in the process of recovery - that's another instance when the bill really should go to the insurer.!

There are plenty of bad pit bulls, and I can understand the sentiment behind the laws. Stupid backyard breeders create viscous and dangerous dogs, and idiots buy them because they look tough.I adore pit bulls. With careful raising and a strong pack leader they are the sweetest, most affectionate and harmless dogs. I find the thought of so many of these poor puppies locked up and waiting to die just abhorrent. |
