Digg can be a fickle bunch. 30+ diggs on a comment filled with gun puns on a story about a guy who took himself out of the gene pool (not a pun), but on a story about finding water on the moon? The bay-con loving bury brigaide probably wants a serious comment. In any case, I'm awash with curiosity.

“Okay, I smoke. I am 22. I love vanilla botschafters. They are smooth and just a hint of vanilla. Now I have the government telling me that I cannot buy something that enjoy because they are worried kids might smoke them. I don't really care about the kids. I just want to have the cigarettes that I want. Also, cloves smell and taste great.

I work in retail and I can safely say that people do buy and will probably continue to buy all of these crappy shovelware games. In fact, I've noticed the average person buying games for Wii is more likely to buy the crappy shovelware games than any of the actually decent games for the system. I'm waiting for a huge crash in the Wii market due to oversaturation of crappy games, much like the video game crash that occurred back in the old Atari days..

"I didn’t like Lost Highway, but let’s not bother getting into that."Weird. I consider Lost Highway to be Lynch's best film. It doesn't immediately make sense but repeated viewings bring you closer and closer to understanding what's going on. It reveals its meaning like a strange dream in that the more you think about it, the more it starts to make sense. Same thing with Lost Highway. I can't think of any other filmmaker out there doing things like that. It's really amazing the way Lynch does it. It's almost like a puzzle.
>It's like saying a military veteran can't be a peace activist.Unless they're advocating that all soldiers be sent to prison for their crimes.Remember she was advocating a scheme where file-sharers get cut off from the internet. She was saying that people who file-share should be punished and then it turned out she did something similar herself (and the mixes were still being shared as she ranted). Surely to avoid the charge of hypocrisy she should be cutting off her own internet.

transportation is becoming more and more virtual. the need for physical transportation is on the decline.also, if we just put nav computers in our cars, we could have the same thing but without an enormous investment in new infrastructure.
