Leaving for school in Britain tomorrow. Awesome.
Then starlon you are an idiot. Get the damn vaccine and stop pretending that correlation equals causation in the argument against vaccination. I wish i did not have to keep explaining this basic principle.

“Actually "over hyping" aside, this virus really is very dangerous for many people.Yes, it is true that for 99 percent of the people that come down with H1N1, it will simply be very much like a "normal" bad-flu. But it's what it does to the other 1 percent that makes this virus different from most other flu viruses. 1 percent of the people who are hit with this virus become "deathly" ill, very rapidly, and require immediate rushed admission into the ICU. If this was 1917 again, a good portion of that 1 percent would die. So far the ICU units are handling it... but imagine if 1 percent of the entire world-population becomes "deathly" ill simultaneously? Also note that the H1N1 virus infiltrates much deeper into the respiratory system then most other flu viruses. (That means it's hijacking cells deep within the lungs, and using them to make copies of itself.) Because it infiltrates deeper, the immune system response has to move in deeper, triggering more profound congestion and mucus deeper within the lungs -- not a good thing. So yes... 99 percent of us will laugh at this virus and say, "That's it?" and blow our nose, and move on... but for 1 percent of the people that get, this is going to be unlike any other flu experience they have ever had.

Thank you for the courtesy black bar over fat Spider-Man's package.?
Yeah, as deadpoetic said, it's a rational fear, not a constant fear. There's nothing I can really do about it if it starts to happen, so there's nothing I can be compelled to do. I'll just be very relieved when, on my 25th birthday, my mind's still working the way it is now. |

If anyone has a problem pronouncing his name, here's Dara O'Briain's method; Think "I'm a dinner jacket." and just veer off at the end.
