Yes. Iran has totally peaceful ambitions in Mind. They haven't persued a nuclear weapons program at all, no sir-ee bob.Oh... wait.http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2006/sc8792.doc. ...http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/16/world/middleeast ...http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,551501,00.htmlhttp://www.startribune.com/world/59638437.htmlhttp://articles.latimes.com/2009/jun/06/world/fg-i ...http://intelligence.house.gov/media/pdfs/iranrepor ...Among others. Way to spew rhetoric and propaganda once again, Niocan.
I like how the officer runs around the corner and is like "Hmm, suspect fell six stories, is obviously seriously hurt, possibly with multiple spinal injuries.... He's not a threat so maybe I should just check his vitals and stabilize... decisions, decisions."F-IT! I'm a cop an I'm on TV! I'm a gonna jump on dis boy an show him who's boss! YEEHAW!!!!!"

That would suck if he landed on the car.?
People are too ***** stupid to not do a lot of things, but we don't pass laws to try to stop them. There's no laws against having twelve children you can't support, giving all your money away to cults, eating deep-fried white castle burgers, or dropping out of high school. Trying to force intelligent decisions on stupid people is a waste of time. Not only because they'll just find some other idiot way to ***** up their lives, but because you're taking away the rights of intelligent people to have some fun once in a while. Ever see Demolition Man? Do you really want a world where everything that might be dangerous has been outlawed? It's really boring. It starts with tobacco, then it moves on down the line to alcohol, red meat and refined sugar. Soon us intelligent folks will have none of the little pleasures that make life in a world full of dullards tolerable. |

While I agree most of the article would constitute bitching, the point he's trying to make is that the rule isn't nuanced enough to understand that most of the electronics people want to keep on don't really pose any danger. It's basically like being in grade school- you ban everything for the time being because if one person still has their Kindle "on", then someone else is going to want to turn theirs on and pretty soon everyone will be chatting on Skype with the pilot.

I lived in Anaheim and commuted to Brea...a 15 mile trip often turned into 45 min drives. Instead of complaining that I cant change my circumstances like this lady is doing (she could likely afford a house closer), I just moved to Brea. I now take 3 right turns out of my house and im at work. In a fit of irony, my work is looking to move its offices to Anaheim... facepalm |
