Shockingly, none of you has correctly mentioned Cooper's "Four Rules" of gun safety. Instead, you've made up your own rules. Weird.Here they are.1.) All guns are always loaded.2.) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.3.) Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you're ready to fire.4.) Be sure of your target and what's behind it.No one handling firearms should be unaware of these. The firearms instructor in question clearly broke 2-3 of them depending on the actual circumstances and what he considered to be a valid target. There is no excuse for that. Modern firearms can be loaded with live ammunition and handled safely all day without injuring anyone if these rules are followed.
