I... don't think you actually understand what this item is about. This article is about the Right-Wing Bloggotubes' disconnect with objective reality. Obama says in a speech that "No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed" and Drudge's headline is a nonsensical "WORLD ORDER (fnord fnord fnord)"Whether one agrees with Obama's foreign policy or not, or how he's handling the mistakes of the previous administration or not, there is a considerable segment of the American Right who are desperate to fly off on any paranoid conspiracy tangent possible, even when the actual words being quoted directly contradict what is being insinuated. That's pretty ***** up.
No the problem is the due whatever you want attitude of the libertarians. Screw rules is their motto.

Could the rationale that Obama is not a Socialist but is trying to draw us back from the edge of Corporatism ever take hold in these people's brains? Yes, to do that you have to move to the left. However, when you're moving to the left to get back to a more rational center, that's not a bad thing.?
And guess how radio pays the bills? 100% ads (except NPR, satellite, etc).Newspapers are suffering the same growing pains as the health insurance industry: inefficiencies in the system allowed them to stay fat and happy, but the inefficiencies they relied on are disappearing, making them work harder for their cash. It happens to most industries eventually, as technological and social progress antiquates old methods of producing goods and services. |

People are going to say what they say, as long as they don't get locked away, I'm okay.

Some are real, others are blatant photoshops. The last one they didn't even try to make the shadow match the extra-tall F.Cum-n-eat didn't adjust the font for perspective. The rest are done well enough that it's not so blatant, but with such low-res images, it's hard to tell.

What's with the oohing and aahing here? This is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen. It's like something your hippie uncle would come up with. Having messages on the roadway is the worst place to have them. What if you are traveling with a line of cars in front of you? You won't be able to read them. GPS technology has clearly surpassed that feature already and is capable of updating on the fly. What about dirt, oil, etc. covering the panels and lessening the energy made? The article itself sounds like it was written by the inventor. One of the richest men in the world? Save us from our economic lull? The president ordering people to work on it? By the way, you can't just create jobs out of thin air just by assigning people to work on something that might not make sense. That's cartoon economics. |
